MUREXIN MS-K509 Contact Adhesive - 16KG

A one-component, permanently elastic adhesive based on MS technology. It contains no water or solvents, is odourless, and does not cause allergic reactions. It dampens impact sounds up to 14 dB according to DIN 52210. The adhesive hardens by absorbing moisture from the surrounding environment. The adhesive is intended for bonding all types of European and exotic wood floors, as well as engineered parquet on cement and anhydrite substrates, as well as on wooden substrates and wood-based panels, such as OSB boards after sanding. It is suitable for use with water underfloor heating. Primer is not required before using X-Bond MS-K509 adhesive. In the case of highly absorbent or insufficiently strong substrates, it is recommended to prime them using Murexin priming agents: polyurethane primer PU 5 or epoxy resin EP 70 BM or EP 90 with the addition of quartz sand. If the adhesive is used with underfloor heating, the substrate (after the heating cycle) should be primed with polyurethane primer PU 5 and covered with quartz sand. Parquet installation can begin after approximately 24 hours. Adhesive residues on the parquet can be easily cleaned within 1-2 hours. Consumption Consumption: approximately 0.8-1.3 kg/m2, depending on the substrate roughness, the type of parquet being bonded, and the notched trowel used. Additional Information:
