Application: Compliant and suitable for boilers. Purpose: To prevent deliberate or accidental contact with potentially scalding water dripping through the open tundish Compatible with: hotun shield SF (HSSF) is only compatible with the “SF” ange of hotun tundishes, ie speedfit inlet. They are NOT compatible with our 100 range (threaded inlet) tundishes When to use shield: hotun shield SF is designed to prevent the user from accidentally touching potentially scalding hot water. It is therefore used on a risk assessment and job by job basis with the installer determining what the risk is (if any) and if there is a justification for fitting the shield with the additional safety that the shield brings hotun shield SF (HSSF) is compatible with the “SF” range of hotun tundishes, ie push-fit inlet. They are NOT compatible with our “100” (threaded inlet) range of tundishes or the hotun XLSF
