Multi-functional and flexible to be used both inside and outside; the strong, sand-free floodbag provides an instant barrier against flood waters in minutes. An effective and easy-to-store alternative to traditional sandbags, Fernco Floodbag is filled with a superabsorbent polymer which simply absorbs the water to create a taut, mess-free flood bag lasting months. Designed to absorb around 20 litres of water and when built in a row, will keep around 18cm or 7 inches of water out, to protect your property. Ready in 3 simple steps meaning it can be deployed in minutes and does not require any specialist expertise or equipment. Simply saturate the Fernco Floodbag in water for a minimum of approximately 5 minutes and just lay the expanded Fernco Floodbag next to each other and then the row on top across the joins below to make it a firm barrier. Clean, dry, easy to store and does not deteriorate over time – with no sand to clean up. Users can also use dry floodbags to absorb leaks from water systems and appliances inside the home.
