The Polypipe Polyfast 479129 wider lead coupler provides an alternative sealing range for connecting 1/2 inch lead pipe to 25mm MDPE, covering lead pipes with a larger outside diameter than standard. Like its Polyfast siblings, it compresses directly onto the lead for a watertight, WRAS approved joint and needs no hot works. The right answer when an older, thicker-walled lead service meets a modern polyethylene repair. Check your lead OD, pick the matching coupler and joint with confidence.
